MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. DO NOT THIN.

  1. Shake Bona Traffic HD finish (Part A) well for 30 seconds.
  2. Add Bona Traffic HD Hardener (Part B) to finish (Part A). One 10.38 oz. bottle of hardener will activate one gallon of finish. To mix finish amounts of less than one gallon, use a 1:11.33 ratio.
  3. Immediately shake mixture vigorously for 30-45 seconds.
  4. Insert supplied filter into bottle.
  5. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before applying.

DRYING TIME:

2 to 3 hours
80% Cure : 24 hours
100% Cure : 3 days

STORAGE: 1 year shelf life in unopened container. Nonflammable - Bona Traffic HD and Hardener should be stored in a climate controlled environment.

KEEP FROM FREEZING. Do not store above 38 °C (100 °F).

You do not need to be a professional flooring contractor to use Bona finishes.

But your floor needs to be properly prepared before application.

1 — Prepare: Sand and clean your hardwood floor.

2 — Seal if required: Apply the appropriate Bona sealer.

3 — Finish: Apply your Bona finish evenly.

4 — Let it cure: Follow recommended dry and cure times.

One gallon typically covers approximately 500–600 square feet per coat, depending on the wood species, floor condition, and application method. Most hardwood floors require 2–3 coats of finish. Use our coverage calculator above to estimate the quantity needed for your project.

Under normal conditions, Bona Traffic HD is typically ready for an additional coat in 2–3 hours. Light foot traffic is generally possible after the final coat has dried, while full cure is reached after several days. Avoid placing rugs or heavy furniture back on the floor until the recommended cure time has been reached.
